Puppy Chow for Marianna...
PUPPY CHOW!!
1 13 oz box Crispix Cereal
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. chocolate chips
1 stick butter
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Melt above ingredients together (minus the cereal) in a pan until smooth. Pour mixture over a 13 ounce box of Crispix cereal. I usually break this down into two batches because I don't have a bowl big enough to hold it all...Stir until coated. Put 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar into a paper bag. Pour in coated cereal and shake well. Take "Puppy Chow" out of the bag and it's ready to serve.
This stuff is pretty dang good...
And my sister makes the spicy chex mix all the time. I'll get with her and post the recipe later today. Enjoy!!

1 Cup Peanut Butter (creamy)
1 Stick Butter
1 (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate
1 (12 oz.) box Rice Chex
1 (1lb.) box 10x sugar
Combine peanut butter, chocolate and butter in a double boiler. Melt and mix well. Put Rice Chex in a large pot and mix well with peanut butter mixture. Put 1/2 box of 10. sugar in a large white plastic bag and pour mixture over top then other 1/2 of 10x sugar on top. Tie bag tightly and toss back and forth to coat rice Chex. (about 20 minutes)
